Oude Molen staff bid farewell to a valued member of our staff, Rosalind Witbooi, who went on retirement. Ros, as she is affectionally known, is adored by staff and learners alike. Learners often referred to her as their other mother. As a teacher, she was meticulous, hardworking and always prepared to help. We miss you dearly and wish you well in your future ventures.

In conjunction with St John’s Ambulance, many of the Oude Molen Staff took a three-day course to familiarise themselves with what is required of a First-Aider. The training was a great bonding experience for the staff, and will also serve the Oude Molen community, with the extra level of safety present in having so many teachers become competent First-Aiders.
