Matriculants 2018 kicked off their final year with the annual matric hike that took place at Tygerberg Nature Reserve. This was a change of location from the usual and traditional trek up Table Mountain’s Lion’s Head. Though the weather was grumpy at best, that didn’t dampen the spirits on the hike across the mountainous bend; taking pictures and storing fond memories as we made our way to the destination. The 30 – 45 minute walk was completed at the same spot where we started, everyone shot pictures, had snacks and took a breather while we awaited our lunch. Therafter, the grand matric tie ceremony took place at school.
