On Friday the 23rd March, the RCl at Oude Molen, as well as fellow learners , showed their contribution to Human Rights Day by means of picketing.
Initially, only a small group of learners, mainly the RCL and Mr Chapfika, stood in front of the school with posters which were made by the RCl and members of the Art class. The picket started at 7 o ‘clock and ended at 8 o’clock. Fellow learners joined the picket as they arrived for school.
The picketing went well and there was much support from motorist as they passed along busy Jan Smuts Drive.
The group re-grouped during break and continued to spread the message of peace and tolerance.
