Ably chaired by Mrs Beverley Hendricks, the SGB functions in subcommittees which are chaired by SGB members, Mr Robert Anderson (Buildings and Maintenance), Mrs Elizabeth Human (Deputy Chair and Finance), Mr Dionne Sussman (Co-curricular) and Mr Shawaal Nakidien (Fund-raising). The Learner Discipline chairperson rotates as the need arises.
Teachers' representatives are Ms E van Niekerk and Mr R Sha. Ms K Harvey is the support staff representative. Representative Council of Learners' members of the SGB are David Daniels and Fatima Adams.
The SGB Constitution and SGB Code of Conduct, aligned to the South African Schools Act (108 of 1996), govern its functioning.
New parents' (7), teachers'(2) and support staff (1) components of the SGB must be elected in 2009.
