Friday the 15th of October was the day that we bid our Matrics farewell as they depart to take their final exams. It was an emotional ceremony, attended by parents, representatives of industry, as well as guest speakers from different fields of life. The keynote speaker was Ms Ramula Patel, a decorated and famous lawyer for human rights, who instructed the Matrics about the importance of hard work and self-sacrifice. Other guests included Mr Brian Fencham of Eqstra, Ms Janelle Fillies from Go4Gold, and also Mr Shaheed Scheepers and Mr Rean Theron from Martin & East. We wish our Matric class of 2016 the best for their final exams, and encourage them to work hard and achieve what they deserve this year.
