At the start of each year Oude Molen has a traditional inaugural assembly where teacher and learners, old and new, are welcomed. This year, it was held on 11th January. Religious leaders from various denominations were invited to address the crowd. Amongst them were Rev. Dr Mary Ryan, Swami Vidyenanda and Rabbi Stuart Serwator.
