On Wed. 26th February, at a School Awards Ceremony for Achievement in Language and Mathematics, Mrs Fatima Khan of Oude Molen collected the 2013 IMPROVEMENT IN Mathematics award from Mr J Mofoka and Mrs K Govender. This award is an indication of the excellent strides the Mathematics department at Oude Molen has been making in increasing the Mathematics marks. It follows on a 2012 Excellence In ENGLISH award. Also present is Mr J Gibbon from Pinelands High (Grade 9 English excellence).
Oude Molen has also received a number of accolades for the year 2013. Amongst them, the most noted is the 2nd highest Grade 12 average in the Western Cape for Mechanical Technology for the 5th consecutive year.
